An intercultural exchange between adolescents
The Shabab Al-Nakhil project is a dialogue and written based intercultural exchange between teenagers aged 15 - 18 years in school in Egypt and teenagers of the same age in French schools. The association will start its action in Egypt by contacting the public schools of the Mit Ouqba area to set up, in collaboration with the teachers of literary Arabic, a class project in which each student writes a story in Arabic. The association will also contact schools in Paris to set up an identical project in French classes in Paris with pupils of the same age. The best stories of the Egyptian and French students will then be translated into the other country's language. The translated collection will be published.

The association will look for funding all over the world and will encourage its members to travel to present the association, talk about its actions and in this way, raise the funds essential to its work.
The association will consolidate the funds received, and use them to launch projects to produce books in Arabic. These books can be translated into other languages, notably English and French, as required.

The association will practice a policy of subventions in order to offer the books to the public at a price they can afford.
The written content of the books will be augmented with digital content. This digital content will be accessible to the public who have purchased the book on any electronic device.
